For other salt forms or metabolites please inquire. Potent membrane-permeant activator of both isozymes I α and I β of cGMP-dependent protein kinase while only a poor stimulator of type II. Common agonists such as 8-Br-cGMP (Cat. No. B 004) or 8-pCPT-cGMP (Cat. No. C 009) mainly activate kinase subtypes I α and II. 8-Br-PET-cGMP is one of the best activators of isozyme I β and one of the best cyclic nucleotide muscle relaxants.
